The Friends of St.David’s Church

St.David’s belongs to our whole community of Neath, both those who live and those who work in it. For over 100 years, it has served and been served by its people. It stands as a prominent and visible witness to the people and town of Neath.

The “Friends of St.David’s” are a group of people who appreciate the importance of the building to the well being of the town. They want to conserve it for future generations and encourage its use by the whole community for continuing prayer and worship, as well as other events.

They are prepared to express their goodwill by becoming a “Friend” and by doing so provide funds for the future, which may be used towards repairs or development that may be needed within the church.

Practicalities
We hope that you will wish to join. There is an enrolment form opposite. A minimum annual subscription of £10.00 is suggested. If you are a UK Taxpayer, your contribution can be increased by signing the Gift Aid declaration.

All gifts will be acknowledged, and as well as receiving a Membership Card, you will be sent a regular Newsletter keeping you informed about the work of the "Friends."

Minimum Annual Subscription Rates:
Single Membership - £10.00
Joint - £15.00
Family Membership - £15.00 (2 adults; 2 children)
Life Membership - Single £100.00 Joint- £ 175.00

Subscriptions are renewable annually

The “Friends” society exists to help the Rector and Church Wardens, by prayer and giving, to maintain the worship and preserve and enrich the fabric and furnishings of the building.
